Kickball FAQ

Here’s a set of frequently asked questions (FAQ) to guide individuals interested in creating a kickball team for an event:

1. What is the team size limit, and are there any age restrictions?
Each team must have 8-10 players. Including a Captain.

2. Can I create my kickball team, or will I be assigned to a team?
Yes, you will be responsible for creating and managing your team and supporting their participation in the event.

3. What is the cost to register a kickball team, and what does it include?
The registration fee is a $250.00 donation. This includes Kickball Team shirts, lunch, and giveaways/raffles.

4. Can I choose a team name and customize team uniforms?
Yes, you can choose a team name, but the T-shirts will be provided.

5. Are there any rules or guidelines for team behavior and sportsmanship?

6.  How will the schedule for kickball games be determined?
Kickball games will be in 30-minute matches. They will be organized with a bracket system.

7. Can I bring my kickball equipment, or will it be provided?
Equipment will be supplied. You do not have to bring any equipment.

8. Is there a minimum fundraising requirement for kickball teams?
This is a fundraising event for the Pathways 2 Work CONNECTIONS Program.  We are raising money for unfunded services to pay for bus passes and interview clothing.  

9. How can I stay updated on team announcements and event details?
We will share all updates through registered team captains.

10. Will there be awards or recognition for outstanding teams or players?
Yes- there are awards for the WINNER and braggin’ rights for a year as the reigning KICKBALL FOR A CAUSE Champs.

11. What is the deadline for team registration, and is there a maximum number of teams allowed?
The deadline to register your team is February 21st, 2025.

Vendor FAQ

Below are some FAQs regarding the event. These questions aim to provide comprehensive information to vendors and ensure a smooth collaboration:

1. What is the purpose of the CONNECTIONS Annual Kickball for a Cause event?
This event is designed to fundraise money for unfunded services that will promote employment and support for individuals.  

2. How can I have a vendor table at the CONNECTIONS Annual Kickball for a Cause event?
Please register at the link provided and the CONNECTIONS event coordinator will reach out to you to complete registration and confirm your attendance.

3. Is there a fee to become a vendor, and what does it include?
There is a $50.00 table fee. Please remit payment at one of the options located at https://pathways2work.org/ways-to-donate/ if you haven’t already done so.

4. Are there any restrictions on the products or services vendors can offer?
This is a Community event.  There will be ONLY Non-alcoholic beverages. We are asking for fellowship-friendly In kind supports and services to be shared with the community.

5. Will electricity or other utilities be provided for vendors?
This event is at Broward County Park. There is limited electrical access. Please specify in the registration.

6. Can vendors provide samples or interactive experiences at their booths?
YES- we encourage this!!!

7. How will the event be promoted, and will vendors be featured in promotional materials?
The event will be promoted using all social media platforms as well as local chambers and partnering recovery centers. Vendors will be featured in all promotional materials, weekly social media shoutouts, and the day of the event promotion.

8. What is the expected attendance for the CONNECTIONS Annual Kickball for a Cause event?
We are hoping for up to 200 participants.

9. Will there be a rain date or a contingency plan for inclement weather?
The event is pending weather since it is a kickball event.

10. Can vendors collaborate or partner with other vendors for joint promotions?
Yes, we encourage collaboration among vendors, and they can coordinate joint promotions or activities.

 Below are some FAQs regarding the event. These questions aim to provide comprehensive information to Sponsors and ensure a smooth collaboration:

1. What is the purpose of the CONNECTIONS Annual Kickball for a Cause event?
This event is designed to raise money for unfunded services that will promote employment and support for individuals.  

2. How can I be a Sponsor and have a table at the CONNECTIONS Annual Kickball for a Cause event?
If you registered as a Sponsor and would like a table, please state that in the registration.

3. Is there a fee to become a Sponsor, and what does it include?
